Creating a samba nas drive using the Pi

filespace mapped

I’m really excited as I am now using my Raspberry Pi to give networked file space to my family members over my home network. It has taken several hours to get all the services working and all the computers connected but it works seamlessly. I’m using an app called WebSSH on the iPad for remote SSH login to the Pi as it is now sitting in the cupboard under the stairs.

There are a couple of tutorials that I have followed in setting this up and between them I managed to get it working relatively easily.

I would love to know if you are successful or if you have any hits or tips to make this process smoother.
